Really starting to run out of soups here: turns out there are not as many different types of soup as I originally thought. This week we've got Campbell's Chunky New England Clam Chowder, cause it's basically the only one left that isn't Chicken Noodle. I assume this soup is mostly eaten by salty, hardened sailors on the frigid coastlines of New England, so I'm hesitant to give it too negative of a review, lest I awake in the middle of the night staring down the barrel of a harpoon. Harpoon skewering aside, this soup is straight-up nasty, dawg. Believe it or not, reheated clam stock is not exactly a culinary experience fit for a king. It does have some celery in it though, and I've heard celery is negative calories, so I guess its got that going for it. It also claims to be "heart healthy", so if you're scared of heart disease (which you should be, statistically it is the second-most likely way for you to die, behind plane crashes), this soup might be a good option for you. It cost like $2.85 or something like that. Do yourself a favor though and go with another option, like that sweet sweet Chicken and Sausage Gumbo (ref. March 26th). Verdict: 2.0/10
