Peter Addison founded Soup! There it is with his longtime friend Mert Erdemir in March of 2023 as an overreaction to several people making fun of his largely-soup diet. Peter has been eating soup since he was an infant, and still eats it about 5 times a week. What was originally a financial necessity has turned into a passion, and now Peter is one of the top soup reviewers of the people he knows. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and buys most of his soups at the local Publix (not a paid sponsorship).

Mert Erdemir co-founded Soup! There it is with Peter in March 2023 because he was the only person Peter knew who knew how to make a website. He is largely indifferent about soup, but is highly supportive of his friends' activities and shenanigans. Mert resides with Peter at the S!TII headquarters in Atlanta, GA, where he is the current webmaster.
